Information for participants
The intercontinental scientific symposium Iconization of suffering and its meaning in verbal, artistic and cultural frame I (Intersemiotic, interdisciplinary and intercultural examination) will take place on this website from 6 March to 8 March 2019.
ACCEPTED PARTICIPANTS OF THE SYMPOSIUM WILL BE ABLE TO:
• present current results of their research concerning the topic of the symposium,
• discuss the topic of the symposium with other registered participants,
• discuss their research with scientists from universities from around the world,
• establish co-operation at academic level.
BENEFITS OF AN ONLINE INTERCONTINENTAL SYMPOSIUM:
• no travelling involved,
• symposium takes place continuously throughout three days,
• your participation is flexible and takes into account your schedule,
• participants have access to other contributions and discussions;
• there is no registration fee,
• there is no publication fee for the papers selected for publication in the journals or the volume.
FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM:
The symposium will consist of the following phases:
A. Registration
1. Academics interested in the symposium need to submit their registration online by 20.3. 2019.
2. Registered participants will send their contribution by email by 25.3. 2019.
3. Once their contributions are accepted, registered participants will receive a login and a password to access the symposium.
B. The symposium
1. From April 8 to April 10, 2019, the online symposium will be accessible without limitations to all registered participants.
2. During the symposium, participants gain access to full text versions of all other contributions and their authors.
3. All participants can initiate and participate in discussions about other contributions.
4. The language of the symposium is English.
C. After the symposium
1. All participants of the symposium will be informed of the inclusion of their contribution to the peer-reviewed scientific journal (ISSN) or the volume (ISBN).
2. All active participants will be sent a certificate of attendance.
